ARE MEALS & HOUSING INCLUDED on retreats?
For retreats, catered meals and snacks are included with your registration fee, but not housing. Meals covered include dinner on Friday and breakfast and lunch on Saturday.
WHAT IF I or MY CHILD HAS FOOD ALLERGIES OR SENSITIVITIES?
Meals and snacks will be served on site for all participants; however, we can not guarantee that our meals will fit you and your teen’s individual food requirements. As such, a microwave, freezer and fridge will be made available to any student who wishes to bring his/her own lunch and snacks. If your child has a severe food allergy PLEASE make note of this in your registration form so that special accommodations may be made.
Can my teenager join me on the adult track?
We encourage all teenagers to participate in the teen track; however, any teen aged 14+ may join their parent in the adult track. These teens must be supervised by their parent for the duration of the retreat and register as an adult.
Are infants and nursing mothers welcome?
Absolutely! Your newest bundles of joy are welcome to attend with you.
Is childcare available?
No. However, parents can opt-in to an email list to cost-share with other parents for an on-site sitter. During the retreat, a room will be reserved for children whose parents are attending the retreat. To join the e-list please contact torih@maryimmaculatechurch.org
WHAT ABOUT SAFE ENVIRONMENT?
All adult volunteers who will work with minors have been through the safe environment training and have received a background check.

I can’t be there for the entire retreat. Should I still come?
It’s best if you can make the full program, but you’re always welcome to join us as you are able; however, if you wish to serve on an Arise Prayer Team at Mary Immaculate, full participation is required.
I’m not comfortable praying with others. Will this be a problem?
We want you to feel safe and comfortable throughout the retreat. If, at any time, you don’t feel comfortable participating in a small group for the practicum, alternative, individual practicums are available. Just ask!

WHAT WILL I LEARN during the retreat?
At the end of the retreat, each students will understand the history and how to pray for the gifts of the Holy Spirit; the rules and standards of intercessory prayer as a Church ministry; how to pray deliverance prayer for self and others; discern test and share prophetic words, words of knowledge and words of wisdom; pray healing prayer; yield to the gift of tongues; and how to incorporate the gifts of the Holy Spirit in Parish life.
